Areas Of Childcare
A childs first two years of life are critical for the development of the brain and language.
From birth, babies are busy, active learners, exploring sight, sound and the feel of the world around them.
Our toddlers are provided with a relaxed environment with manageable challenges to allow them to develop emotionally and personally at their own pace. Our staff understand their frequent changes in interests, capabilities and mood and provide a calm consistent environment to support their learning. Our children are exploring and asserting their independence and their power to communicate with others around them.
As our children move into our preschool they will find a more structured pace of meaningful and purposeful learning. Our children are encouraged to approach the world with curiosity and a positive desire to investigate and learn. We encourage them to gain confidence in thinking for themselves, solve problems and work with others. Through a rich variety of activities we aim to ignite a curiosity for learning in our children that will imbed a desire to investigate the world in which they live, this will in turn, enhance the development of their emerging knowledge and skills. A balance of child initiated and adult planned, guided learning are provided throughout their day
